1974 Elan 250 Deluxe Twin

The little Elan. It would work well as a parts donor, or it could be made good again. The hood is not the best. The front where the hinge mounts on has be broke out and fixed. Other wise it was perfect. The windshield too has a couple of small cracks in the top. The handle bar chrome is in good shape. And the plastic shroud over the carb area is in great shape. Key is there too. Motor turns over nice. It is the type 248 twin, totally complete with 110psi Compression on both sides. I do NOT add oil before checking, this is a dry reading just as it sits. Exhaust is good with no visible holes. Gas tank is also good, no cracks. Drive unit is in working condition. Skis are perfect. No holes, welding or bends. Ski shocks are dent free. Belly pan is decent. The track is in good shape, and will most likely go for ever. Air box is partly there. $100 or will sell the pair of Elans for $150.
