Wrestling Game fans have long wait.
IGN.com has posted an interview with Kan-San who happened to work on WWF WrestleMania 2000, No Mercy and currently WrestleMania X-8. Despite previous reports WrestleMania X-8's grapple system will be more like that of the Smack Down! games. So I guess that means their isn't one. The controls will be that same push a button and a direction to perform the move. The game also lacks a story mode, but more than makes up for it with things like TLC, Cage, Hard Core, and a full size Hell in the Cell. The game also features the return of the create-a-belt option last seen in WM2K. But the main reason this game is gonna sell is the roster. Not only will it feature former alliance members like Hurricane, Rob Van Dam, and Diamond Dallas Page, but it will also be the time that the nWo is featured in a wrestling game. This includes Hogan, but I doubt he will still be wearing his nWo attire by launch time. Hopefully, this interview didn't bum you out like it did me but from what I got out of the interview and the screens that have been floating around WrestleMania X-8 will look and play like a Smack Down game with a little bit of wrestling thrown.click here.

Full RAW Roster plus Rumble is in.
THQ updated the official RAW site with a whole new design, new screens, and a full list of the WWF superstars that will be in the game. They also snuck in the fact that despite past rumours WWF RAW wil feature a Royal Rumble mode along with the four man battle royal's that had been announced earlier. Six wrestlers will be allowed on the screen at once. To see the new page for yourself click here.

WrestleMania X-8 screens + RAW interview.
THQ has finally announced the first solid details on its Gamcube wrestler which we now know will be titled WrestleMania X-8. THQ is promising the most complete wrestling game roster with guys like Booker T, Rob Van Dam and The Hurricane along with guys like Stone Cold, Triple H and Kurt Angle. Now for the bad news though. WrestleMania X-8 is being developed by Yukes. But judging by the screens I've seen of the game it actually does look pretty cool, so I'm not gonna judge it until we hear more. To observe the screens on your own just click here, and check back tonight for a full report on WWF Wrestle Mania X-8.
and IOWgames.com has managed to get themselves an exclusive interview with THQ's Sanders Keel on WWF RAW. I thought the news that came out of it was mostly dissapointing for RAW fans but you can read it for yourself right here.

On top of that they've also got the first screens of Tajiri, Albert, and even Haku with that big ass fro of his?   WrestleMania 2k2 news, some RAW stuff.
According to the almighty gamespot.com WWF WresteMania is slated to be released sometime in June. THQ has'nt set a specific date and keep in mind that sometime in june is probably the earliest the game will be released. There still is'nt any news on who is developing the game (AKI-Asmik is the assumed team though) but THQ is promising a whole new control scheme. Read gamespots full reportright here.

After the exciting news of having climbable ladders and breakable tables in WWF RAW for the Xbox it seems like things are back to normal now cause I've got some bad news for you. For a completley unknown reason WWF has asked Anchor and THQ to remove the blood from RAW. That's right after all the talk about how real the wrestlers blood would look it seems now it's been taken out. Some feel confident it will end up back in the game but right now there is no blood in WWF RAW. The backstages currently are'nt in the game yet but that could be just because they are'nt done YET. On a final note I want to tell anybody that wants to right there own column to e-mail me at dexpac24@hotmail.com. I don't care if your a good writer or not just as long as the column is about wrestling.

Gamespot has once again come up with a huge update with both kick ass media and a five page long preview. In it they reveil that ladders are in the game as weapons but there is no ladder match, same goes for tables. They also confirm a handfull of more wrestlers via the screen shots. Some of the guys they show are Raven, Tazz, Christian, and X-Pac. Unfortunatley Gamespot also confirmed that the new release date is'nt until February 12th now.
