COMMANDING POWER

Power Command/King-bred 2002 black-bay mare

SOLD - THANK YOU ROBERT & ANITA!
We all look forward to this mare's 2009 foal
by our Skipper W & The Ole Man stallion.

Her colts by this stallion are all beautiful, good bodied,
good legged, well-balanced movers.

This mare (Doodah) settles easily, foals easily and milks
like a Guernsey cow...her colts thrive.
She is probably the best mother we've ever owned -
takes good care of her colts; but is easy to work around
when handling her colts.
She has overall good conformation, a compact build,
good substance, four straight legs, stands around 14.2 hands
and can turn around on a dime.
Her sire and sister have AQHA points in reining and a
brother has points in western pleasure.
Sire, sister and brother are all good looking horses.
She's an athletic and well-balanced mover and passes
that onto her colts.

Doodah is an intelligent mare and loves attention.
She is respectful on the ground, leads, ties, and stands
for the farrier. We have done all the shots
and worming with no real issues.
She was started in the round pen and has been saddled;
however, due to circumstances, her training was never finished.

She has one small blemish on her right hind leg due to a
mare fight, but she is completely sound.

Here's a short video clip of Commanding Power and her 2006 buckskin colt.

2007 Filly by Ole Skip Classic

Pinball Whiz (also for sale - $900)
Potential for cowhorse work and speed events.
She's a well put together filly; athletic & quick.
Powerfully built and a good blend of her dam and sire. Will be taller.
