During the 2001 season, the UNITED STATES
MODIFIED TOURING SERIES staged races in Oklahoma, Missouri, Nebraska, Illinois,
South Dakota, Iowa and Minnesota, traveling more than 25,000 miles and
thrilling more than 200,000 fans. For 2002, we're pleased to offer even
more excitement with almost 40 races in two separate regions. This new
format offers an expanded lineup of modified teams who are anxious to show
their stuff against series champion Kelly Shyrock, Mark Noble, Mike Chasteen,
Johnny Sathoff, Willy Kraft, Tommy Myer, Tim Donlinger and more.
Every UNITED STATES MODIFIED TOURING SERIES
race offers a minimum winner's check of $2000. Regional points funds, an
overall points fund and contingency awards make the USMTS the best place
for America's best modifieds to compete. As a result, the USMTS attracts
an outstanding following of loyal fans, making it a great place for sponsors
who want to expose their products and services throughout the Midwest and
South.
