driving down the freeway
on my way home that day
My body sent some signals there and then

My arms began to ache
and my chest began to tighten
a hot flash swept over me
in my eyes a blur made it hard to see
and thought maybe the next exit I should take

Then as quick as it did start
the now known signs of a heart attack
from my body began to ease and depart
and my sense of awareness started comimg back

I picked up my cell phone
and dialed my honey Fran
told her I`m heading home as quickly as I can
All the time thinking... was my life ending it`s span

I stopped at my Nephews house
feeling weak shaky and numb
My sister looked at me and said to her son
Kevin hurry call nine one one

The Paramedics quickly arrived
The next thing I remember
The ambulance was taking me for a ride
