Duenow Snowsports

Duenow Snowsports is a new and upcoming sno-cross team. My name is Steve Duenow, #634 on the District1South curcuit, you can learn more about me at the "All about me" page. Right now I am the only racer for this team. I am looking to start a larger racing team and have found a few people who are interested, but nothing is final yet. The team will run at World Snowmobile Association (WSA) races in southern Minnesota. I will be riding in the begginer fan class on my 1999 Arctic Cat Z-440 Sno-Pro.

I am now going to school to work on snowmobiles, motorcycles, ATVs, and watercraft. So I will be able to work on my sled to race, and repair lawn maintanance products for Duenow Landscaping. I am going to Hennepin Technical College in Eden Prarie, MN.

I would like to give tons of thanks to all of those to have helped him for getting my racing career started: My Dad, Mike Duenow (he loaned me the money for the sled)plus he created me, that is pretty cool too; Lisa George, Cory Bauman, Crew Chief, he has helped me understand more about racing than I could ever know without experiencing it firsthand, he also let me race his street stock at Princton raceway in the summer of 98,and I crashed it, I am his crew chief too, so that just made more work for me! Doug Bauman, Cory's Dad, helped with some of the problems I have had with the sled the night before races, plus he is a pretty cool guy too! I would also like to thank Big Steve's AMSOIL,and Duenow Landscaping, they are my own businesses, but they help a lot. THANKS EVERYONE!!! Duenow Snowsports appreciate all of your cheering, and I hope to hear from some of you at the District One races.

Have you looked into AMSOIL, or do you currently use AMSOIL? Either way you should check out Big Steve's online AMSOIL store for information and sales of AMSOIL products!

AMSOIL products lead the way for synthetic lubricants. They have engineered products for 2-cycle and 4-cycle engines that create a barrier of protection unparraleled by any other lubricant on the market. I use this product exclusively on my snowmobile. It is also what we run in the number 0 Wissota Street Stock, Cory Baumans Street Stock that Big Steve's AMSOIL sponsors. AMSOIL also carries a full line of products for, heavy duty diesel operations, fuel additives, metal protectors, vehicle cleaners, gear lubes, greases, air and oil filters, apparal, and more. If your interested in any of these things go to Big Steve's AMSOIL site.

Snocross the coolest racing ever!

Posted Wednesday- February 21st, at1:15 am central standard time

Well New Ulm was alright, I did get a win out of the deal. And the track was cool, but i could have done better in the final, and slipped off the running boards. So I fucked myself over, oh well. Buck was cool. I did alright as usual, but I just cant do GOOD. I need better hole shots, and need to get ahead of the riders that suck real bad and flip over in turns, they screw you over.

Well folks, I did the sickest trick of my career. I pulled off a cordova. There was a big at Buck Hill, and I figured I should pull something cause i was just riding the fan cooler, and everyone else busted out the mods. I am pretty proud of it, it wasnt the best but it was sweet none the less. I have tape, and will try to turn the still into a picture.

If you want to find where there is some snow where you can ride click here to go to the Snow Tracker and see where the snow is.

Duenow Snowsports has a feature I am sure that all snowmobilers will love, a Weather Channel link. If you want to see what the weather is like for your trip, or how the snow is, then go to the weather channel page! Good luck finding snow though, there is none to be found, because it's June.
