I'm afraid to say this, but I'm not sure that there's going to be any comedy in this rant. This Rant of the Month is going to be about something that just may get you people THINKING! Yes, I said the "T" word, and I know better then anyone else that the one thing this site doesn't do, it's make you think. So, this is just me telling everyone that if you're looking for comedy, here's probably not the place to find it. BUT, otherwise, ENJOY!
Over the course of the past few months, for some reason, I've been trying to find someone that would probably understand some things that travel through my head on a daily basis. Sometimes even I don't understand them, and sometimes they're so clear to me that even a dumbass could see the brilliancy in such thinking. The problem is, I never seem to be able to speak out loud, and put such things into words so that everyone can understand, and alas, I haven't found anyone that I think could actually look upon what I have to say with an open mind.
This time the thoughts I'm trying to convey basically go with the thoughts that both science, and religion are correct. How so you may be asking? Well, I think I'll just spill a few ideas and theories and you people can tell me what you think of them. I'll start at the beginning.
Religion says God created man, the earth, the universe, the animals, and everything else that we have come to know. Science says that Evolution created everything that we see over the period of millions of years. Well, who's to say that they're both not right, in their own small way? I'll try and explain.
First off, I think the bible is a complete piece of crap! It's like the "War of the Worlds" gone bad! I think it was just an attempt to get some money from 3 entrepreneurs trying out a new idea. I'm sure they had no idea the stupidity it would cause some thousands of years later. Of course, no one can really say that the bible is true or not true, since no one was there when it was written. You can say it's real til you're blue in the face, and you want to know what? You're not going to have one single ounce of proof to back up your statements. Of course, I don't have any either, which is why I said I THINK it's a complete hoax, and not that it IS a complete hoax. So don't go making assumptions. Anyways, enough with the bible!
Let me move on to my next theory. That is simply the big one that says who says that Evolution isn't PART of God's world? Lets look at it like this. Scientists have the "Big Bang" theory which basically states that at one nanosecond in time all the atoms and molecules came together and the universe was created. Wellll, who's to say that God wasn't the one that made the "Big Bang" happen? It had to happen somehow! And ever since then, the plan, the "fate" of the universe, has been one long line, or event after event. I'll explain more...
Not even the Pope can really deny the fact that Dinosaurs roamed this earth 65 million years ago. I'm sure he has even been to the museums where the Dinosaur fossils are even kept! It's also a known fact that while the Dinosaurs were around, mankind was not. Mankind didn't come around until millions of year later. In the time between the two, the Ozone layer was formed from the gases from the waters. Life came back to earth with a whole new set of rules. Who says that this isn't what God intended to happen. Why can't evolution be part of it? Why does everyone have to stick with the 7 days and the world was made theory? That alone is tearing this world apart. One half of the world is all religion, while the other half of the world is all science. No one seems to ever be able to merge the two forces together, and until they do, this world will forever be in turmoil.
I'll try and explain another example which may validate my theories a little more clearly. This whole theory of mine is based upon the thought that everything that has ever happened in anyone's life has all been part of a complex and billion year old plan. As time passes, the plan gets older and more complex. "If it's meant to happen, it will" is the best way of phrases what I'm talking about. Every misfortune, every reward. Every loss and gain. Every feeling and choice are all a section of your part of the "Big plan" that God has created for us. There's no running from it, because if you do, then trying to run from it is all part of the plan as well and you were suppose to run from it. People that die. People that get hurt. Innocents. Convicts. Doesn't matter who you are, it's all laid out from the moment this world was conceived over a billion years ago.
A person's mind is the key to this entire plan, for in the mind is everything that you're suppose to do in your life. If you're are to live until you're 90 and die of natural causes, then your mind is going to follow the path that has been laid out until that day and then it's just going to shut down. If you're to die when you're 14 from a drive by shooting in some run down neighborhood that you never belonged in in the first place, then that's what's your mind is going to make you do. Why? Who knows. I don't know why, and neither does anyone else. It's the way life is. As much as it sucks most times, it is what it is. The thing that might also gets your stocking in a bunch is the thought that your mind possesses the life line of everyone else in this world. Each person that drives by you. Each person that lives on the other side of the world, or just next door, locked in your mind is the entire life line that they are suppose to live.
I'm sure that's a lot to handle and there are probably so many doubts as to whether this is true or not. I don't blame ya. I still have them myself, but think about this. When you go to sleep at night, most times, you dream about something. Sometimes it's fantasy. Sometimes you're a one armed serial killer trying to get at your mother for not breast feeding you as a child. Sometimes you're trying to save a friend from a burning spaceship. These are just your mind having some fun. Blowing off steam if you will. Sometimes though, you have dreams that come true down the road. Sometimes they happen that day. Sometimes they happen the next week. And sometimes they happen 6 months down the road. When you get to that point and you get the "déjà vu" feeling, it's not a fluke. They call these dreams "psychic dreams". They're not psychic at all. During those dreams, your mind let you see some events that are to happen later in your life. At what point in your life they're suppose to happen I could never tell ya. What about the times when you dream about watching some other events happening. Say with a close friend. I know of people, friends and acquaintances, that have told me they see other people dying. They see something happening to people they don't know, and people that they do know, and then some time later, these events happen without the person dreaming the events before even being there. Has this ever happened to you? If it has, then you know what I'm talking about. If not, maybe someday you will. All I'm saying is that when this sort of thing happens, your mind is tapping into another person's life line. You're seeing things that are to happen to someone else. These types of things are so rare simply because the life line is someone else's and not yours.
Another point I'd like to make to somehow try not to come off as a lunatic. What about mother's and their children? Mother's intuition is what they call it. A certain sense that is only between a mother and her children. Hundreds of miles away, a mother can sense when something is wrong with one, or more, of her children. Why is this? Simple really. For that 9 months the two of them are whole, the mother and child. Their souls are one if I may say that. The mother, being a lot older and wiser then the fetus, gets certain life line events from their children into the corner of their head. And since the two are one, the mother's mind is better able to process it. So, when the son, or daughter, or both, are off somewhere and something happens and the mother can feel it happening, it's just the mind telling the mother that a certain point in the life line has been reached, and since their souls were one at one time, the mother can feel and sometimes even see what the children see. It's really quite fascinating.
One more point before I wrap up this long ass Rant of the Month. Religion and science both put us at the top of the food chain. We're the more sophisticated, and advanced. Why is this though? Why are we the ones who are on top? Why not the elephant? Or the Lion? I'll say the same thing here and I told one of my friends. Can the Elephant do research to cure diseases? Can the Lion write novels and poetry and make speeches? Can the penguin invent gadgets and inventions to help further the advancement of his race? The answer is no, they can't. We can though. Of course, lets not get too cocky. When this world began, the Dinosaurs ruled the earth, until they were taken out. Then Evolution put the sea creatures in charge. After then, the elephants and buffalo were at the top, and now... it's our turn. We're at the top until evolution makes another step up the ladder and creates a creature that even we cannot stop and we're taken out. Whether it be by super-humans, or by aliens, or by Mother Nature herself. Sooner or later, something is going to knock us off. It's our fate. It is our destiny.
The whole point of this rant, and each point I tried to make are based around the basic theory that everything that has happened. Everything that is happening, and everything that is to happen is all part of the main plan that God has. Everything that science says is basically true, and everything the religion says is basically true. They are certainly wrong on some aspects of it. Science says there isn't a God. They're wrong. Religion says that God is everything, created the Earth, we are alone, and that science is wrong. Well, they're wrong is saying this. God doesn't need to be worshipped, or really even prayed to. He knows what goes on in your heads, hearts, and souls. If you have faith in him, everything will be alright, no matter how shitty your life may seem.
I hope I achieved my goal and at least made you think about some things that I have stated here. Everyone is welcomed to send me feedback letters, good or bad. If you think I'm dead ass wrong, go ahead and tell me so. If you think I may be correct, go ahead and tell me that as well. All letters will be posted if you want to send me one. Til next month! LATER!
