About Us
Welcome to Big Diamond Mastiffs and Mandaryn Cavaliers.
We are located in Northern Minnesota, two hours from the Canadian border. We had been raising and showing English Mastiffs for the past 13 years and have been successful in putting Titles on several of our dogs. We have always had Cocker Spaniels, but due to the excessive grooming required for showing, they weren't a breed we wanted to show. We bought our first Cavalier King Charles Spaniel in 2005 after researching the breed and waiting for nearly a year on a show breeder's waiting list.
We wanted a small dog that would not challange our Mastiffs and we found it!
The Cavalier has got to be the sweetest breed I have ever met! They are wonderful family dogs, great companions and do a great job keeping us warm in the winter! I can't imagine living my life without one of these great little dogs.
Our goal is to produce top quality, healthy show dogs, regardless of whether they ever make it to the show ring. We have our dogs eye and Cardiac tested annually at the University of Minnesota to ensure good, healthy bloodlines for the future.
Most of our puppies will be sold as pets on a spay/neuter contract. We may occasionally sell a puppy with full registration.
