Cub Scout Pack 362 is based in Ramsey Minnesota. We are a member of the new Northern Star Council, Three Rivers District. Last July, Viking Council (Minneapolis area) and Indianhead Council (St. Paul area) merged, and the end result is the new, improved and larger Northern Star Council. All of our scouts will be receiving the new shoulder strip to replace their Viking Council shoulder strip very soon. Our Charter Sponsor is The awesome and super fun, Ramsey Lions Club! We hold most of our winter Pack meetings at Ramsey Elementary School.
We have 70 Chartered Cub Scouts! We are a large Pack, but we have an excellent group of adult volunteers who work hard to make sure our Pack runs smoothly, and a Cub Master that is committed to seeing that the boys have a fun Pack Meeting every month and a quality year-around program!
In the year 2002 we had grown to over 125 Scouts, so we decided to do a little 'down-sizing' and we split our Pack to make it a little easier to handle. Some of the Leaders and Scouts left our Pack to start a new one, and Pack 623, sponsored by the Lord of Life Church in Ramsey, was born. They have gotten off to a great start!
As a Pack we have earned many awards!
In the Year 2000: The Quality Unit 2000 Award District Award of Merit Cub Master of the Year - Cub Master, Norm Motter Summertime Pack Award In 2000 our Pack sold $9,800.00+ in Popcorn! More than any other Pack in our Council.
In the Year 2001: The Quality Unit 2001 Award Summertime Pack Award
In 2001 we exceeded our expectations and sold over $21,000.00 in Popcorn and once again, we sold more than any other Pack or Troop in our Council!
In the Year 2002: Quality Unit 2002 Award Norm Motter, our Cubmaster, received the District Award of Merit! Summertime Pack Award Our float and Scouts won 3rd place in the Ramsey Happy Days Parade! Our Pack collected 898 Pounds of Food for the ACBC Food Shelf in Anoka! Our Pack sold 755 plant coupons for Green Valley Greenhouse earning our Pack $1,500.00 and our Scouts earned $3,020.00 for themselves! We sold over $21,700.00 in popcorn again this year! Our Scouts really know how to sell that popcorn! Once again, we were the top selling Pack in our Council!
In the Year 2003: Welcome Jim Gregg, our new Cubmaster, who is also an Eagle Scout. Quality Unit 2003 Award We sold $18,000+ in popcorn this fall! Way to go Scouts! We sold 481 total plant coupons for Green Valley Greenhouse, earning close to $1,000 for the pack and $2,000 for themselves.
In the Year 2005: Our Pack sold 296 plant coupons for Green Valley Greenhouse in Ramsey, earning our scouts $1,156.00! We also sold a lot of popcorn and we were, once again, the top selling Pack in our district!
In the Year 2006: We welcomed our new Cubmaster, Ralph Swarm. Our Pack sold 573 plant coupons for Green Valley Greenhouse in Ramsey earning our scouts $2,970.00! We collected 506 pounds of food for the ACBC Food Shelf, located in Anoka.

People move on every year, and we need to fill these open position with people who are as committed to the Pack as the people we are losing! We wouldn't be the exceptional Pack we are without all of you and your help!
