Many of the classic Ocarina of Time weapons and items are back, including the hammer, the bow and arrow, hookshot, the boomerang, the ocarina, the bombs, and the dagger -- only that young Link can now use all of them. There may also be some new items in the game that Nintendo hasn't unveiled yet.
Swords
Like in every Zelda game, there are swords, and there are weapons which may be upgraded during the game. To the left are four of the knon swords that will be recievable in Mojora's Mask(or as we like to call it, Zelda Gaiden). The first looks like the kokiri sword from OoT, the rest, well, get better.
Bombs
Bombs are one of the items that are returning to Zelda Gaiden. They are used to hurt enemies or to reveal secrets hidden behind cracked walls and other things.
The Bow
Adult Links Bow is also returning to the game but this time young Link will be able to posses it. It can be used to shoot enemies and possably switches.
The Hookshot
Adult Link's Hookshot will also be avialable to young Link. It will be used for a way to get to hard to reach places and for hurting enemies.

The boomerang is used for stunning and defeating enemies.
The Ocarina, and more
With the Ocarina, you can warp to certain places (like to the castles). Through the game you'll learn new melodies for the Ocarina, and they can change something in Gaiden when you play them. There will also be other forms of Ocarinas like in the pics to the left that will be used by other forms of Link.
The Shield
Zelda Gaiden provides a new shield for Link contianing a new design. It can be used for blocking enemies attacks.
The Masks
The use of masks has been greatly expanded over Ocarina of Time. Link will be able to use the power of certain masks to change his appearance and give him special abilities. For example, one mask turns him into a Zora, enabling him to swim underwater. Another mask will turn him into a Goron, allowing Link to curl up into a ball and roll around. Yet another mask will turn Link into one of those annoying Deku Nut guys and allow him to fly with the use of a flower in a hang glider-like fashion.

There will be a little under 30 masks.The scrub,the zora,and the goron are the three main masks because they are the only ones that allow
to transform. Zora- When transformed into a zora,the sword on the b botton is replaced by the hookshot.As a
zora you will also have the ocarina replaced by a bone guitar. The zora mask will help you swim forever,and more gracefully. Goron- When in goron form, the sword on the b button is the hammer and you get bongo's to replace your ocariana. With the goron mask on you can pick up heavy rocks as well as rolling around. Deku Scrub- When a deku scrub,you get the nuts to replace your sword,which I thnk may be shot out of your nose. As a scrub you also get some kind of horns to replace your ocarina and you can hang glide with flowers.
