Link took Zeldas hand and ran towards the back of the castle. For the battle would soon begin and they would need to prepare for the fight. Link, we must summon the saints soon. Zelda said, while strands of her hair flew gracefully in the wind. Link turned his head and stared into those big blue eyes, the eyes that reminded him of Malon. And suddenly he began to wonder if she was all right. He knew that she would understand why he hadnā't shown up. For he was the Link, legendary hero of Hyrule. They turned behind the castle and ran upon a Triforce pedestal and Zelda, taking a breath, bent over and placed her hand upon the Triforce as Link followed close behind. What is supposed to happen? Link asked as his hand began to glow. I hope this works. All three are supposed to be here to open the gateway. Zelda thought aloud. Listen Zelda, I can pull the Master Sword and it can take us automatically. Link said pushing his hand through his hair. And by the time you woke up, Hyrule would be destroyed. That is a wonderful idea. It was just a suggestion. Link said trying to calm Zelda. Suddenly a blue glow shot around them and they descended into the Chamber of Sages. Lights glowed everywhere and beneath them they could see the Sages below them, coming up fast. Link landed first and he walked to one of the sages and said, Rauru, we need help. Yes, Link, legendary hero of Hyrule. We have sensed a major evil surrounding the land of Hyrule. Rauru spoke aloud. And we don't have the kind-of power that it takes to destroy the evil. Zelda said. The Triforce matters not in this battle young ones. Darunia stated. What does that mean, Zelda asked. Link, you must use everything you've ever learned in your life. Saria said. Saria, tell me more. Link said. Link, you have recovered objects from your past battles, have you not? Ruto asked. Yes, but what does that have to do with anything? Link asked. It means all the more. Rauru said. We shall tell you what you need to put a stop to the evil that Crainon is putting out. Nabooru said. Yes, please tell us. Zelda said. For starters, you need a blade that is as strong as the sun. Darunia told. You must have the shield of the ancient ones. Impa said. You must obtain the boots of the Great Fairies. Saria said. And, Link, you must find the Cape of Agahnim. Rauru said. Zelda pulled Link over to the side and said, Do you know what they are talking about? I recall a battle with a man by the name of Agahnim, but can this person be the same person. Link questioned. Link, the chosen one, we must give you wizardry as that of the Horsemen of Crainon. Nabooru cried aloud. Are the Sages allowed to give those powers without the retriever earning them. Zelda asked. Link has earned more than a measly little power. He has earned all of the power that each of the Sages have. Impa said. Oh, great Sages, what power shall I have? Link asked. Link, you have the courage of the fiercest mountain lion. You are as quick as a cheetah. You are fully able to be awarded this power, the Power of Anubis. You must now take this weapon. It may not be the fastest weapon, but it is strong as the thickest metal. Take it. Accept the power. When you are in need of help and you can no longer take much more beating, call upon the armor of Anubis.`Rauru said. With it, you can defeat any foe. Nabooru said. Accept it Link. Saria told him. Link put his hand in front of him and suddenly his body began to glow red and suddenly on his body, he wore a thick armor with a chain hanging from the side. When you need to use the armor, shout the battle cry of Anubis. Rauru said. Zelda looked at him as her mouth fell. Great Sages, may I obtain an armor as well? Princess Zelda, I am afraid that we cannot give you any armor. If you could only see into the future, you would understand. Ruto said. I accept your wisdom. Zelda said. Zelda, let's go give them a battle cry for all to hear. Link said. We thank you for your time, oh great Sages. Zelda said as they appeared behind the castle. Let's go kick some serious butt. Link said. Link, not everything that the sages say are literal. You must listen to every little word that they say. Zelda said, with the wondering thought as to why hadn't the sages given her an armor. What was it that was in the future? Yes, but I must protect Hyrule. Link said spreading his arms apart, This is all under my protection. Link, I understand, but can you do it? Zelda asked. I will surely try. Link said. And I will be there if you need my help. Zelda said. Link lifted his hands to his mouth and shouted into the clouds, We will not give up to the likes of you.
