The Legend of Zelda: Emulation

Before we get to the Emulators and games there are a few things you should know. First off in order to use these files you need WinZip to extract them. One more thing you can only have these "games" on your computer for up to 21 days unless you have the game, then it becomes illegal, but you may keep it at your own risk (they will never cach you! he he).

The Legend of Zelda
Well this isn't Link's first quest since Zelda 64 is a prequel, but it is the first Zelda game. Not too many games have made the impact Zelda has done to the gaming world. This game added something to video games that no other game ever had, it added the element of exploring and puzzles. This was also the first game ever to come with a built-in battery to save your progress. Passwords suck. This game has good graphics, good sound (very loopy and only 2 tracks), great control and a grea variety of weapons. This game is a must have. Who can forget the gold cart that it came in? A true Classic.

The Legend of Zelda: The Adventures of Link
I feel as if I'm the only person who liked this one. Comparing it to the other Zelda games, it's disapointing, comparing it to any other game, it's really good. This game has more of an RPG feel to it, than other Zelda games (no "ATTACK / RUN / SPELL" menus). There's 2 views in this game, the map view and the action view. You travel around the map view to go from one village/dungeon to another. When you enter a dungeon or village, the game looks like a side-scroller. This game is very different from the other Zeldas but is a good twist nevertheless. This too was shipped in a gold cart.

Super Nintendo Download: ZSNES

The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past
The third Zelda game in the series and most likely the best SNES game there is. Even for 1993 it has good graphics and very good sound. It has a good storyline and even better gameplay. There wasn't really anything in the game i didn't like. It is kind of like the original Zelda game but with enhanced graphics and gameplay and a lot more story.

Nintendo GameBoy Download: DBoy

The Legend of Zelda: Links Awakening DX
Zelda DX is definetely the best game on gameboy. This is a remake of the classic Zelda: Link's Awakening with more colors, contains a hidden new dungeon, 2 new bosses and has gb printer option. The rest is unfortunetly the same (although that could be seen as a good thing). Good gfx, good color usage, good sound, good play control and a lot of puzzles make this a must play game for anyone who hasn't played the old one.
