OR HOW ABOUT THESE CHRISTIAN ONE LINERS submitted by Jaris and Art Smith....
The task ahead of us is never as great as the Power behind us.

THE POWER OF CHRIST'S DEATH & RESURRECTION MEANS NEW LIFE FOR EACH ONE OF US!

OUR STATEMENT OF VALUES
We believe

...in an inclusive church whose purpose is to make disciples of Jesus Christ...
...in a spirit-led ministry by disciples of Jesus Christ sent forth to transform the world...
...in relationships as the heart of ministry and invite all people into a relationship with God and one another through Jesus Christ.

Our Church Council reported at the Annual Church Conference on December 18, 2001, the status of the visioning process begun in the *Seeing the Promise* sessions during Lent. Thus far we have consensus on:
OUR MISSION STATEMENT--The mission of the United Methodist Church of Albert Lea is to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world

ANOTHER NOAH'S ARK PICTURE...

Submitted by Sandy Olson
Noah's Ark Everything I need to know, I learned from Noah's Ark..
ONE: Don't miss the boat.
TWO: Remember that we are all in the same boat.
THREE: Plan ahead. It wasn't raining when Noah built the Ark.
FOUR: Stay fit. When you're 60 years old, someone may ask you to do something really big.
FIVE: Don't listen to critics; just get on with the job that needs to be done.
SIX: Build your future on high ground.
SEVEN: For safety's sake, travel in pairs.
EIGHT: Speed isn't always an advantage. The snails were on board with the cheetahs.
NINE: When you're stressed, float awhile.
TEN: Remember, the Ark was built by amateurs; the Titanic by professionals.
ELEVEN: No matter the storm, when you are with God, there's always a rainbow waiting.
