The Comedy Club

The Comedy Club is a special Toastmasters club, located in North Oaks, Minnesota, that was formed because we liked the Toastmasters program but we wanted more. It is exactly that. Toastmasters program and more! Our mission statement for this club is, "To learn and develop skills that will enhance our speaking abilities, primarily through incorporating techniques of comedy and presentation into Toastmasters program."

Many people believe they can’t be funny. Wrong! Everyone can be funny. It is like public speaking. It is a skill you can learn. You must study and practice it, but you can do it.

We teach techniques of stand up and improvisational comedy. By learning these techniques you will gain the confidence necessary to attack humor and any other fears that may be keeping you from achieving your goals.

Meetings are the first and third Thursdays from 6:30-8:00 pm. Guests are welcome. Come prepared to laugh and have fun. Don't be a miserable failure!
