Mark Caron - harmonica/vocals

Mark's loved the blues since his teen years when he picked up his first harp (from the store, not from the ground). He has plenty of harp heroes, including the two Walters, Sonny Boy Williamson II, and George Smith. Contemporary players include Rod Piazza, Jerry Portnoy, Sam Myers, Gary Primich, Mark Hummel, James Harman, Kim Wilson, Rick Estrin, R. J. Mischo, and Paul deLay. Mark plays with intelligence and blues-approved conviction. He understands the subtleties of blues harp playing such as good tone and technique in addition to the importance of musical phrasing and rhythm. Mark has a clean, expressive vocal style. He admires many current blues singers, but outside of blues per se, he loves the vocal artistry of Bobby Darin, Sinatra, and of course, Bing Crosby.
