Chuck Haelig - bass/vocals

The Bing's bassist is a veteran of the music scene. Born in Chicago, the spiritual home of the blues, and half southern, due to his maternal Louisiana heritage, he thumps the low end and along with drummer Jerry Kern's right foot keeps the crowd dancing. He has performed at nudist camps, gay bars, body and fender shops, backyards, country dance halls, and once played the lingerie department of a Sears Store in Salinas, California on a Sunday morning! Chuck moved to Minneapolis in 1994 after declining to go on the road out of Los Angeles with a national act. He also plays in the local classic rock band Preferred Stock.
