Music has been a big part of Bruce's life. He took classical piano lessons until 12 years old, when he started playing drums in rock bands. He returned to the keyboard in the 70's, playing both solo and in dinner clubs and with the Dust Bowl Blues Band. While raising a family, Bruce limited his playing to improv jams. In the 90's he returned to playing coffee houses and clubs as a solo performer, prior to joining The Bings in 1998. His keyboard chording and solos add so much to The Bings sound. Good blues keys players are hard to find, not to mention being a relatively rare member of a small local blues band. We are glad that we found Bruce!
