Christine is 27 years old and has been
speed racing snowmobiles since 1996.
She got her start in racing "just to see
who was the fastest on the lake." She
loved the rush of competing, allowed
herself two years of riding experience
and joined her boyfriend Wayne
in the local speed runs in 96. Her first
racing sled was her trail sled a 91
Polaris XC400 with the 440 racing motor.
She had an excellent season and took
home several championships.
In Nov. 98 Chris picked up a new
99 ZR440 SnoPro straight from the Arctic
Cat factory. She races in several
classes: Stock440, Pro-Stock 440,
Improved Stock440, Stock500,
Pro-Stock500 averaging 96mph in 1000'.
She loves meeting good people at the
races and encourages newcomers by giving
technical support through the internet
and news groups.
She also enjoys promoting the
snowmobiling industry through her award
winning website. "Gotta Need4Speed!"
Her records have been posted in numerous
newpapers, websites, Snow-week magazine,
particiated in televised circuits, and
had a published personal interview with
Net4TV about being a female racer in the
sport. With racing in her blood and
always on her mind she plans to continue
indefinitely, her ultimate goal is to
break NSSR's Pro-Stock World Record and
continue having the time of her life.
