What is the Minnesota Summit?

The Minnesota Summit AAU Basketball Program was formed to "do it the right way." Many AAU basketball programs across the state of Minnesota seem to have lost focus of what AAU basketball is all about...the players. In the Minnesota Summit AAU Basketball Program, we believe that AAU basketball should be the ULTIMATE basketball experience. Along with competing in some of the most prestigious tournaments around, the SUMMIT experience will aid players with the continued or initial steps toward gaining recognition and exposure to college coaches and recruiters. The Minnesota Summit was created to help players, not to promote the Summit as a club or coaches as individuals.

What does the Minnesota Summit basketball program have to offer that will set the Summit apart from other AAU basketball programs?

1. The Minnesota Summit will offer quality coaching that stresses winning while developing and requiring players to strive to play at their peak level at all times.

2. The Minnesota Summit will enter its teams into the most competitive and highly respected tournaments in the state of Minnesota and the Midwest Region.

3. The Minnesota Summit will gaurantee each player increased visibility with college coaches throughout the Midwest Region. This will be accomplished through the production and dispersion of the Minnesota Summit Media Guide.

4. The Minnesota Summit will use film study to improve the finer points of individual as well as team play. Films will come from both practice and games.

5. The Minnesota Summit will aid players with initial college contacts, follow-ups, and scheduling visits at the players request.
