Shampoo is a 16 year old Chinese amazon girl. Shampoo met Ranma first when he was a she, and Ranma and Genma ate the first prize of Shampoo's village's tornument. Shampoo was mad, and Ranma decided that is she(he) beat Shampoo, the food would be his. Ranma won, and Shampoo gave she(he) the Kiss of Death. That means that Shampoo would pursue Ranma until she had killed her(him). She accidently bumped into Ranma at his school, and Ranma knocked her out. Expecting another Kiss of Death, Shampoo replied instead: "Wo Ai Ni", which is Chinese for "I love you" Ranma couldn't stand her following him around, so heartbroken Shampoo returned to her village. Her grandmother Cologne continued with her training. They arrived at The Spring of the Drowned Cat. Shampoo fell in and now she turns to a cat whenever cold water touches her. She mailed herself to Ranma, as a cat, hoping he would accept her as his pet. Problem is that Ranma is TERRIFIED of cats!! Now Shampoo lives in Ranma's town, pursuing Ranma untill she gets him.
