REBIRTH
May the cross that was carried so many years ago
Be a reminder of that which so many bear
So that we don’t have to redo all of the wrongs in life
So that God and his one son don’t still have all this strife
But may we all try today to correct and to change
The direction that we may, in our time rearrange
May we bring more love into the world that we now have
And may all our hearts pour forth like a balm, as a salve
In healing much of the pain that remains on this earth
And in our hearts and minds be ready for a rebirth
A rebirth of love and hope and joy and peace within
For everyone on earth as each of us said : "AMEN".
To handle yourself, Use your head;
To handle others, Use your heart.

Today is the day
To celebrate moments--
To stop and feel the sunshine,
To build, your own rainbow.
Today is the day
To celebrate chances.
To make, your own adventures.
Today is the day
To live large and worry small
To celebrate joy,
To find the time to dream
And to believe in miracles

I CREATED YOU
One day, as usually was the case, a young waif, a little girl, stood at the street corner begging for food, money or whatever she could get. Now this girl was wearing very tattered clothes, she was dirty and quite disheveled.
As it happens, a well-to-do young man passed that corner without giving the girl a second look. But when he returned to his expensive home, his happy and comfortable family, and his well-laden dinner table, his thoughts returned to the young waif and he became very angry in God for allowing such conditions to exist.
He reproached God, saying, "How can you let this happens? Why don't you do something to help this girl?"
Then he heard God in the depths of his being responded by saying,
"
I did, I created you!"- Brian Cavanaugh, T. O.R. -

How far you go in life depends on you being tender with the young, compassionate with the aged, sympathetic with the striving, and tolerant of the weak and strong. Because, some days in life, you will have been all of these.

Things Aren't Always What They Seem
Two travelling angels stopped to spend the night in the home of a wealthy family. The family was rude and refused to let the angels stay in the mansion's guest's room. Instead the angels were given a space in the cold basement. As they made their bed on the hard floor, the older angel saw a hole in the wall and repaired it.
When the younger angel asked why, the older angel replied, "Things aren't always what they seem".
The next night the pair came to rest at the house of a very poor, but very hospitable farmer and his wife. After sharing what little food they had, the couple let the angels sleep in their bed where they could have a good night's rest.
When the sun came up the next morning the angels found the farmer and his wife in tears. Their only cow, whose milk had been their sole income, lay dead in the field. The younger angel was infuriated and asked the older angel, "how could you have let this happen!? The first man had everything, yet you helped him," she accused. "The second family had little but was willing to share everything, and you let their cow die."
"Things aren't always what they seem," the older angel replied.
"When we stayed in the basement of the mansion, I noticed there was gold stored in that hole in the wall. Since the owner was so obsessed with greed and unwilling to share his good fortune, I sealed the wall so he wouldn't find it. Then last night as we slept in the farmer's bed, the angel of death came for his wife. I told him to take the cow instead. Things aren't always what they seem."
Sometimes this is exactly what happens, when things don't turn out the way we think they should. Just trust that every outcome is always to your advantage. You might not realize it until much later.
