Oasis will play to 160,000 British fans in just three Stadium concerts next summer - Bolton's Reebok Stadium on July 15th, their first-ever show at the UK's premiere venue Wembley Stadium on July 22nd and Edinburgh's Murrayfield Stadium on July 29th. It is the first that Oasis has performed at any of these venues and the band's first UK concerts since they played Wembley Arena in December 1997. Information on how to buy tickets will be announced in the UK media on November 30th. To receive an e-mail with all ticket purchase information direct on the morning of the 30th click here. The Wembley Stadium concert will come five years to the day since Oasis played at Slane Castle, Dublin. Since then, Oasis has established their mark as the biggest UK Rock band of the decade - with global album sales totalling 25 million. Noel said: "The reason we chose Wembley is because we don't like playing big places anymore." These shows will be the first opportunity for fans in the UK to see Oasis play live in their new line-up with new guitarist Gem and bassman Andy Bell. Oasis's biggest-yet world tour kicks off in Japan on Leap Year Day (February 29th) and will roll through South America, the USA and Europe before coming to Britain in July. The start of the Oasis World Tour will coincide with the release of the band's fourth studio album, "Standing On The Shoulder Of Giants", a 10-track CD that will go on sale at the end of February. Standing On The Shoulder Of Giants was recorded in Britain and France. The album includes the first song that Liam Gallagher has written for Oasis, "Little James". All of the other songs are written by Noel Gallagher, who co-produced the new album with Mark 'Spike' Stent. "Standing On The Shoulder of Giants" full track listing is: "Fuckin' In The Bushes", "Go Let It Out", "Who Feels Love?", "Put Your Money Where Yer Mouth Is", "Little James", "Gas Panic!", "Where Did It All Go Wrong?","Sunday Morning Call", "I Can See A Liar" and "Roll It Over". Oasis have announced that Andy Bell, formerly of UK bands Ride and Hurricane no.1, will be joining the them on bass guitar. He has been rehearsing with Oasis earlier this week, and will accompany the band on their U.S. radio dates that start in Philadelphia on December 3rd, as well as their world tour which starts in late February 2000 in Japan, and runs through most of next year. Oasis have known Andy since their early days of touring, when Andy's first band Ride were special guests at Oasis' Xmas '94 show at the Brighton Centre in England. Andy said: "I'm very excited. When I got asked to join, it was not a difficult decision to make. Oasis have always been an inspiration. I'm looking forward to it." 5 November 1999: Gem Picked for Oasis' Psychedelic Big Top New Oasis guitarist, Gem, turned in an incendiary debut performance at the Guy Fawkes day shooting of the video for their forthcoming single, "Go Let It Out" due out February 7th. This will be the first track to be taken from their fourth album, "Standing On The Shoulder Of Giants" (release date: February 28th 2000). The video is Gem's first assignment since he joined Oasis as their second guitarist, replacing Paul "Bonehead" Arthurs who left in the summer. Oasis have been friendly with Gem ever since his former band Heavy Stereo opened for Oasis at Cardiff International Arena on March 18 1996, and were invited to play at their special open air extravaganza at Loch Lomond, Scotland later that summer. Gem has been a fan of Oasis since their early days and was quoted in August '95 saying: "Oasis are an absolute flagship. When they got to number one it was brilliant, it was like when The Jam did it. You felt proud waiting at the school bus stop, especially if you were stood next to a Meat Loaf fan." Noel said today: "The good ship Oasis has a new crew......It's time to hoist the Jolly Roger"
