The stress of Secret Service work appears to be getting to Jim West as his temper flares and he makes mistakes. As West is being recruited by some member of the underworld who seeks to capitalize on his misfortune, Artemus and Colonel Richmond try to find out exactly who, for what, and why.

Note: look close for a couple of things in this episode - in one underwater scene, there's clearly a guy in a modern scuba-diving suit. And when West comes up for air his hair is dry!
