Well folks......... what about riding?

Ehh, again, to shorten a story...............
'Bout 15 years ago, i quit riding (english style) 'cause of all those up-nosed, well-dressed-with-all-the-right-stuff-riders that were polluting the ridingclubs in the area where i lived. Simply didn't like to be in an environment where 'You are what you wear and own, and it better be EXPENSIVE'.

When i met 'wifey' (Anna), she had a horse, and i got introduced to Western riding. The first thought i had about it was that it probably was a bunch of 'Triggerhappy western-maniacs' who hadn't grown up yet......... (like some of the guys at the swedish westernplace 'High Chaparral').
Well, she persuaded me to follow her to a clinic to see for myself, and i can tell you i almost fell flat on my butt.... There they were, a bunch of mixed people, different ages, various horses and equipment........ and everyone had FUN! This was my first interaction with western riding, and WINS, the club i'm a member of today (It's their logo to the right).

One thing followed the other, and on the friday of eatern holiday last year i climbed into the saddle for the first time in 15 years!! Well i can tell you that my body discovered a whole bunch of new muscles that i hadn't been aware of for a long time...... and they were SCREAMING at me. Climbed off after ten minutes, could hardly walk...... Duh!

Due to too much to do all the time, there's almost no time for riding, and it doesn't happend very often, but one of these days.........
In the meantime, i enjoy myself, and our lil' horsey, with some friendly petting every now and then........... Hmmmmm, nice creatures :-)
