Something wonderful happened to my life.............
In december '94, i was convinced by a friend, Ann-Louise,
to come
to Engelholm to watch a local band, Balthazaar, perform.
Well, i jumped into my car and drew the 200 kilometers (i
was living in Gothenburg).
I arrived to Ann-Louise's new apartment at about 5:00 am,
fucked up my parking, and when
i woke up and were about to drink some morning coffe, i saw
that the police was going to tow away
my car. I ran down, got the mess cleared up (well almost,
i had to pay the fee to the tow-truck; 900 swedish
crowns, approx. 120 dollars).
Well, the evening of the concert arrived, and after a few
stiff drinks, off we were.
It was a dark and rainy evening, and i froze like hell on
the way there.
It was a crummy little pub, lying under a school. Not much
people (less than 100)
The support act came onto stage, and really played the hell
out of the place!
They played a wide mixture of covers, Sting, Pink Floyd,
and lots of other stuff that
other coverbands don't play here in Sweden. They finished
their set with Satrianis
'Always with you, always with me'. Absolutely AWESOME!!!
Half an hour later, Balthazaar entered the stage.
They played a weird mixture of blues, funk, jazz, pop, rock
and almost anything else.....
I thought they were quite good, so i went out to the wardrobe,
to talk to their manager, about
possible gigs for them in Gothenburg.
Then, from out of nowhere (i.e. the entrance door) SHE emerged.
In my slightly beer-dazed state of mind, i noticed a green
and black skirt, and a gorgeous
red hair. I love a hair like that!!!!!!!!!
I stumbled towards her, and mumbled something, and were allowed
to kiss her hand.
Well, to short things down, we had a helluvan evening there,
and i dropped her off at home
with a cab. We were both drunk as the skunks we are by then,
so she managed to give me the
telephone number to a friend of her. (or was it on purpouse.......
hmmmmmmmm)
I called her a few days later, and asked her if she were
good at making coffee, since i was passing by
and wanted to visit her. She almost thought i were nuts,
saying that i was passing by her place, since it was
200 kilometers from me, but i explained i had a delivery
to make only 10 km's from her.
Well i went down, made my delivery, and the rest is history.......
Dizzy pic, well so is she, somfortably in the sofa, after a few
of her favourites;
Grogg, made from Vodka and Coca-cola.
Here's two pics to show you all we're the perfect match.
(Or the missing link, or two loonies escaped from the cuckoos
nest, or whatever......)

We got married on the 27th of january '96.

wedding and the party
Could it be the momentary laps of reason??????
Hell, i don't know, but i'm glad i met her.
She's the joy of my life,
my light in the dark,
the best friend anyone can have,
the prettiest thing on earth,
and i love her more than life!
