When an innocent messenger attempts to make a business
delivery for a young woman (Nicole Oliver) working from home, her subdued husband Scott (Greg Spottiswood)
suddenly goes maniacal and kills the messenger, then go catatonic. It seems
Scott's use of black market pornographic 'recall' discs caused him to live out his
twisted fantasy. When the case leads Hume and Farve to Elana (LAURA HARRIS), the 'actress' in
the fantasies, Farve's emotional and sexual capabilities suddenly come in to
play. Unable to process his emotions, Hume attempts to express the difference
between feelings in one's 'gut' and feelings in ones heart.
