The goal of this class is to develop an understanding of Database Management Systems, with emphasis on Oracle 8i. The class puts emphasis on team work to develop and implement the projects. My team project is to develop and implement a DBMS for a fictitious Car Rental Company. All the models are based on Oracle specifications and we hope to develop the data extraction application in Java using Java Database Connectivity (JDBC).
