Adam and I were actually second cousins, but we grew up living only a few miles apart and have always considered each other to be first cousins. We were the same age too, so that helped a lot. We worked together for two summers doing construction work and became super close this year during all of our chats and working together on his house. He and my friend Carrie became the parents of Brianna Lynn Oftedahl on March 21st, 2000...He loved them both more than they'll ever know. On April 26th, 2000, Adam died in a farm accident, probably because of other unknown complications that happened before the accident occured. Everyone here is left to wonder why God would take such an awesome person and can only guess why he does the things he does. However, it must have been Adam's time, and hopefully in time, everyone here, including myself, will be able to come to terms with that. I love you Adam!

Adam was the proudest father around - probably the most protective too!! He always set Bri on his bare chest to fall asleep, and it worked every time!!
Adam, Carrie, and Brianna in the hospital shortly after Bri was born. Adam always sat around in that bed more than Carrie did - he even kicked her out at times! Mrs. Gustafson saw them in bed like that when she stopped up at the hospital and said to them, "Now isn't this how the trouble all started?!" :) She was a great role model for Adam - he thought the world of her.
Sara, Adam, myself, and Wendy are all cousins - this prom photo was taken last year (1999) and we had been all geared up to take another one this year...now we'll have only the memories.

Adam and I on his new motorcycle in August of 1999 at the Oftedahl Reunion. He still owes me a ride on that thing.
My mom took the top picture of Adam on his snowmobile...he LOVED the snow - the other two Stukel took. Adam loved hunting and fishing and all water sports.
This pic was taken during a New Year's Party this past December. The "leather coat gang" had a great time ushering in the new year.
Adam fixed up this truck and totally pimped it out, but once it was done, he bought an Aspire to save on gas money!
