10/24/00- Here's a couple things to vote for Jordan on....

10/21/00- Jordan just did an interview on KIIS in LA, I listened on the internet, it was rather brief, he said he's going to try to have a single out by January, and he doesn't know what song yet, he said he might be biased if he picked the single out, for example he didn't know "Give it to you" was going to be his first single. He said he has 7 songs complete! Most of the songs will be uptempo dance songs, He talked about the weather in MN, and said most of the times it's bad weather (like bad storms) when he is in Minnesota, but it's nice this time:) He said he doesn't mind when people say "Aren't you one of the New Kids?" instead of "Aren't you Jordan Knight?" He said he is proud of the NKs. When asked if he was doing anything else besides music, he said he would like to be in a movie, but music is his passion, and he doesn't want to spread himself too thin by doing too much. He said he gets to act in his videos.

10/19/00- Jordan's sister, Sharon stopped by the JordanKnight.com chatroom on Oct 18, 2000, she didn't have much news about Jordan's album or his plans for when he releases it, but she answered a few questions fans had about the family and other things.... here's some of the things she talked about.... About Jordan's new album:

• Matt has listened to some of Jordan's new songs, and gave him advice
• Sharon wants to wait to hear the finished songs
• Jordan is busy flying all over to finish the album

• Jordan and Miguel are best friends and get along very well
• Jordan had a crush on Allisa Milano
• Jordan and Matthew often swap cd's
• Jordan took Matthew on a skiing/snowbaording trip

• Dante is "too fat" to walk, but jordan says he's taken a few steps
• Dante looks like Jordan
• Dante has been saying "da da" for a while now
• Dante lives with Jordan
• Dante recently got his first hair cut
• When asked who is Dante's godmother, Sharon said Dante is not baptized yet

• Evelyn is a full time mother to Dante
• Evelyn picked out the name for Dante, and she knew she was having a boy, so they didn't think about a girl's name
• Jordan and Evelyn met at school
• Sharons doesn't know when Jordan and Evelyn are getting married
• Sharon says about Evelyn "I love her very much, she's a wonderful girl"
• Evelyn was not in any of Jordan's videos or on the making of the video
• Evelyn doesn't travel with Jordan

• Jon doens't have any kids
• Jon recently fixed Sharon's sink:)
• Essex home not sold yet (Essex is a small town by the ocean)
• Jon is not married
• It's true Jon was stuck in horse manure on uncle's dairy farm
• Jon did date tiffany, but Jon and Tiffany don't talk regually anymore (Although Tiffany called their mom recently)

• Donnie and his wife came to Dante's birthday party
• Joe recently got "dis-engaged"
• Donnie sold his resturant

• Sharon and Allison recently got back from a kids show (for clothes) in NYC and they bought stuff for their store
• Sharon's youngest is Brendan Allan born 12-23-96
• They just moved, Allison and Sharon recently bought a 2 family house
• Marlene is doing good, and someone asked if she was the strength of the family, and sharon agreed
• Sharon loves the Melville home - lots of memories
• Sharon has not read the unauthorized book (Give it to you - the JK story)
• They owned the children's store for 4 years
• Sharon was born in Chatham, Ontario, her mom dad Allision and other relatives were born in Ontario too
• Their mother grew up in Dunville, OT, Allision was born there too
• Sharon's cousin getting married in Milton OT in Dec
• Matt has new girlfriend and he talked on the phone a lot with her
• Matthew was looking for the PPV with him, he remembers being on the show
• Matt's hair is darker now, Sharon's 3 year old has the blond bowl cut now
• Sharon tries to talk to Jordan often (once a week or so) but Matthew talks to him more

10/15/00- Miguel was in Jordan's chat today, and he said Jordan's first single will be out around the end of January! He said the record label is farmclub.com/Universal. Jordan is currently in MN for 2 weeks working on the album.

10/11/00- Jordan is still working on his new album, according to JordanKnight.com, he'll be spending the whole month of October in LA and Minneapolis.

9/24/00- Jordan did another surprize appearance at a concert yesterday, this time in Boston at "Mixfest", From what I heard, he was backstage and the DJ brought him out and said "Does anyone recognize this guy?" he introduced Macy Gary, and said his album is coming out in January (OMG could it be that the album actually comes out eariler than he says, instead of later, because last I heard it was Feb. lol) (Thanks to Anne from the blockheads egroups list for letting us know about this)

9/23/00- I found some info on Flyte Tyme's website, and it says Jordan is now doing 6 songs with Jam and Lewis and it says Alex Richbourg is working on the project with them (he was actually in the credits on Jordan's last album, he did some drum prgramming). Also you can find 2 really recent pics of Jordan in the studio (Sept 15) on Flyte Tyme's site at http://www.flytetyme.com/ftpgallery/gallery.htm

9/22/00- Here's a chance to get Jordan on an award show, and maybe even get him an award...You can nominate the finalists to be chosen for the My music awards show vh1.com! By the way, speaking of voting, NKOTB won the TRL Classic Video on thursday (when Joe was on promoting "The Fantasticks).

9/12/00- I met Jordan again yesterday:) I asked about the release date and Jordan laughed and said "I never have a release date!", but Miguel said it would probably be February.

9/10/00- Ugh! If only I had known.... Jordan made an appearance in Minneapolis today at KDWB's "Last Chance Summer Dance" today and introduced Brian McKnight on stage! (I wish I would have gone to this show!) Anyway I found this picture of Jordan on the Dave Ryan In the Morning show's website.

9/7/00- Jordan's site says Jordan will be in LA and London this month working on the album. They deleted the part about him being in MN next week though:( I guess that means they canceled it. Also the chat date is changed to the 14th, and the 20 winners have already been chosen (I wasn't one of them, so someone get a transcript PLEASE!)

9/5/00- Not really big news, but I just wanted to let you know the entries for the Chat with Jordan contest are due by tomorrow, Sept. 6 at 4PM.

8/30/00- Jordan will be back in Los Angeles from September 4 -10 and in Minneapolis from September 11 - 18 recording on his new album! Also the New Kids were # 6 on VH1's teen idols countdown! The show reruns several times in the next few days, check your listings for airtimes.

8/28/00- Jordan is up for "Best Video" (for "Give it to You") for the music channel "The Box" in the UK! To vote, go here!

8/22/00- Sharon Knight (Jordan's sister) was in Jordan's chat on Saturday night, to read the transcript go to jkfans.com. Also Jenni from jkfans.com is collecting emails to send to Dante, Jordan's son, who will be turning 1 year old on Friday, August 25. If you would like to send Dante a birthday wish, send an email to birthday@jkfans.com (Jenni will send it to Sharon, who will print them out at give them to Dante and his parents at his birthday party) If you want to send an email have it in by Wednesday, August 23. I know this is short notice, but I hear "60 Minutes" will have a special on teen idols tonight, and they might show the New Kids. Also speaking of TV and the New Kids, MTV has been airing a show lately called "MTV Video Music Awards Uncensored II" in which they say that last year at the Video Music Awards, the New Kids were asked to make an appearance, however Jonathan didn't want to, so it never happened. 8/17/00- Here is some news posted by John from Fan Asylum....
"There will be a special chat sometime in September. Not to bombard the chat on chat day, TeamJK will be holding a contest. The winners of the contest will get to speak to our special guest. The contest will go up at jordanknight.com tomorrow (8/19) before 5 pm PT." I don't know if the special guest will be Jordan, but I have a hunch it would either be him or Miguel:)

8/7/00- Jordan is coming back to Minneapolis again from August 8 to the 16 to record with Jimmy Jam.

8/3/00- Here's a little snippit an interview from Mya's website where she talks about the song she did with Jordan. Unfortunatly she didn't say anything about it being available anywhere:(

One of the songs that didn't make it was a duet with Jordan Knight. How did you like working with him? It was a weird experience for me. We recorded the track in two different parts of the world at the same time! I was in Los Angeles and he was in London. We recorded the song through a technology called E.D. Net where you can basically hear each other's voices in the studio, control room and my headphones. That's how we communicated. Did you have him in mind for the track? Yeah. Diane Warren wrote the track called "Underneath A Spanish Sky." Jordan Knight and I were label mates at the time and we thought it would be a great idea. I actually met Robin Thicke through Jordan because Robin was working with him. I met Jordan at MTV and we always talked about doing something together. We also modeled at the Tommy Hilfiger fashion show. We just kept running into each other and we just brought up the idea of doing something together.

7/29/00- Jordan was at the charity b-ball game that NSync put on tonight, from what I hear Jordan was a part of the "Knights" team (hmm wonder if he was put on there because of his last name, lol) but the other team "The Daze" won. Also I hear in the new People magazine (Aug. 7, p. 24), there is an article about Jordan and Jon selling a house (I think the one they used to live in together in Essex, I think their mom and some family live there now). Also if you didn't read my story about meeting Jordan, he says he doesn't know when the first single will be out yet, and he is doing 5 songs with Jam and Lewis.

7/25/00- Here's another place to vote for Jordan for a Boston poll. He's not an option (but should be!) so you need to write him in.

7/23/00- Here is some news I got from Tera from the BF4NK@egroups.com mailing list, she got to hear one of Jordan's songs and says it is an upbeat song and here are some of the lyrics she remembers...

7/15/00- From NSync's website "Challenge For The Children is coming along great. Here is the big announcement... by next Tuesday we will be putting a few more tickets on sale." So keep your eyes open for more available tickets too see Jordan participate in the charity.

7/15/00- Broken By You is now being aired over at 93.9 KCFM in the Phillippines, and it's up to #6 on the Final Countdown on Magic 89.9! The transcript of Jordan in 89.9 and the debut on KCFM are on the Knight Circle Website (Click on light at top of page, then click "smorgasboard" (Under Update July 13), then click on Jordan with his mouth open, and then click on "Broken By You Story")

7/12/00 (2)- I found this on the JK.com chat board, from xray, that according the Jordan's interview today he will releasing his album in January, and will be touring in January and February! The wav and transcript will be up on Knight Circle Website tomorrow.

7/12/00- Jordan is will be Los Angeles working on the album from July 16 -23 then going to Minneapolis from July 23 - July 28 to work with Jimmy Jam. Jordan will be doing the interview with Magic 89.9 tonight, JK.com will have updates later. There is a new On The Spot up for July on JK.com too:)

7/11/00- According to Jordanknight.com, Jordan will be attending NSync's charity B-ball game on 7:30 PM July 29 the charity will benefit Arnold Palmer's Hospital for Children and Women, The Justin Timberlake Foundation and Nordoff-Robbins Foundation, and more. Also there will be press conference on July 28 and V.I.P. party at Planet Hollywood on July 29. No word yet if/how to get into those events yet, or if Jordan will be at the press conference and V.I.P. party. The basketball game is sold out.

7/7/00- I hear Jordan may participate in Nsync's Basketball Tournament, July 29 in NYC at St John's University. This is event is sold-out, but I'll let you know if I hear any confirmation. Just a follow-up on a few things... the Interview with Magic 89.9 didn't happen yet, due to weather and technical problems. Jordan will reschedule it for another time. Also, I found out that Jordan was not involved in the song with Christian Davis (I have no idea why they had that on that site, lol)

7/5/00- According to JK.com, Jordan will be chatting Phillippines radio, 89.9 Magic DWTM at 7:00AM (It doesn't say the day though, could be today or tomorrow, but that's probably already past by now.) But they said they'd have a transcript up soon.

7/3/00- Broken By You is up from 22 to #13 this week on the Final Countdown for Magic 89.9! However the last time they had the Early Returns countdown it slipped from #3 to #4. I think the easiest way to request it is by emailing them at magic@magic899.com.ph

6/21/00- The latest from jordanknight.com is that Jordan will be in LA from June 21 - June 28 working on the album with various producers.

6/20/00 (2)- I found a website with a countdown on it at http://homepages.go.com/~monthhits/ and for the month a Dec. 99 they had "#5 Christian Davis- Safe In The Arms Of Love (F/ Jordan Knight) (Find 'Em First Remix)" listed on there, however, they have since updated the site, so it's not on there anymore, and I've been looking all over for more information about this, but haven't found any more. Apparently this song was released as a single last fall, and Christian's album will be out later this year. I found a site with the orginal version of the song here but I don't think I heard Jordan's voice in it so, I'm guessing if Jordan is featured in the song, it's just on the remix. (If you listen to it, email me and let me know what you think).

6/20/00- "Broken by You" has been playing on Magic 89.9 DWTM in Manila, Philippines, and yesterday it was #3 on the countdown there!! Here are some places to vote for it...

6/14/00- Jordan answered some new questions on the On the Spot section of his site. The producers he named for the next album are Rodney Jerkins, Jam & Lewis, Brian Rawlings, Robin Thicke, & Steve Rhythm. Also some fans met Jordan in the UK and posted on their site NKOTB UK some of Jordan's answers to their questions. (direct link)

6/9/00- Still no "new" news, just wanted to share a link I found it's from www.talkline.org they have some pictures of Jordan from the Kiss 108 show from last year, and a brief interview with Jordan here (it's about half way through, 4th interview)

6/5/00- Jordan is in England right now and will be until June 11 with producers Brian Rawlings and the Groove Brothers to work the new album.

5/23/00- Not really news, but I thought it would interesting to post a link to an article published by Time Magazine about one of Jordan's producers for his next album, Rodney Jerkins. Go here to read the article.

5/14/00- The Aspire Awards (the awards Jordan won for Best Male Pop Album) will be held on July 15, 2000 because they plan on having them on TV, but no word yet as to what station they will be on. Check out the host of the Aspire Awards, EryK.'s website eryk-club.com and look under "fun stuff" he has Jordan in his top 31 entertainers of all time and in the top 51 albums of all time!

5/11/00- Vote for Jordan's "Give It To You" video on TRL Superstars

5/5/00- The good news is Jordan might have a single out this summer, but - the album won't be out until around Christmas. Miguel said in the chat tonight that Jordan signed with farmclub.com (which is an online record label Sonique is one of their artists) and it is a part of Universal/Interscope. His reasoning for why Jordan's song with Mya was not on her album is that it sounded like a song Enrique Iglesias and Whitney Houston did.

5/3/00- Here is some news from JK.com " Jordan, along with uber-producer, Rodney Jerkins, will be in Atlantic City the week of May 8 to work on his new album!"

5/2/00- Jordan says (on his on the spot section of his site) that he will be working with Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, Rodney Jerkins and the Groove Brothers from London on the next album. Also, he describes the new album as "dance dance dance".
