Michael Africk: First of all the answer is BOXER/BRIEFS!
Jen from Arizona asks me: What do you think of this way the computer world we have going here?
I'm really glad that I've gotten involved in the internet so far, so far it has shown to be a very successful way to reach all of you and I like that I can speak with the fans almost anytime.
Karin from MN and Diana from Australia asks... will the album that gets released in the stores be the same?
We just completed two new songs that very possibly will be added to the CD. We'ew hoping for a fall release.
Carina and Marisa from Argentina asked... What kind of music do you like and who is your favorite singer?
I like any type of music that is heart felt, well-written. My favorite and most influental artist is the very talented Elton John
Gemma and Marta from Barcelona... Why did you include Spanish words and where does your latin influence come from?
I spent three years in Miami going to college and from the very heavy latin culture that exists there, my musical ear became much more sensitive to the sound sound of latin music. I love the rhythm of latin music and the way it moves me
Amy Parrish from Florence, Alabama... What is a typical day in my life?
Wake up about 8AM... then head to the studio, work on new material after the studio, I head to dance rehearsal, usually by then I'm pretty tired so I head home and get ready for the next day.
Shadow from HY... If you could have one wish, what would it be?
My wish would be to have a successful career and to have touched and made a difference to as many people as I can.
Melissa from Minnesota... what did you do for your birthday?
First of all thank you to everyone for all the gifts and cards. On my birthday... I was thrown an unbelieveable surprize party at the studio, I was joined by all my freinds and family it was the best birthday of my life so far, we partied till 5 in the morning.
Ida from Ontario...When did you first start singing?
I started singing a few years before I started playing the piano which was around 7 years old, for as long as I could remember I have been singing.
Nicknic from South Africa.. Do you have any brothers or sisters?
I have one brother. His name is Daniel, he is 26 and he lives in NY. He is also very musical. He has a great vioce and plays the guitar. We are very close.
Micki from Michigan... what is you favorite song ever?
I have many but a few of them are, "I Can't Make you Love Me" by Bonnie Raitt, "Thriller" by Michael Jackson, "Sorry seems to be the Hartest Word" by Elton John, and many more.
Chrissy from Hampton, VA... what's the most embarassing thing you have ever done to turn a girl's head?
The most embarassing thing that I ever did to turn a girl's head was I was at a bar in Boston and my friends and I were trying to look cool to a group of girls, and we started having a competition to see who could kick the pay phone off the hook, not realizing how high the phone really was with my drink in my hand, I attempted to remove the phone off the hook with my foot, my legs went out from under me... the whole bar laughed and my cranberry drink spilled all over my shirt
CINNY from Dayton Ohio... Who is your role model
When I started working on this record, my producer Miguel and I found a great friendship and working relationship. He makes me want to be the best I can be and pushes me to strive to be the best I can be.
Jen from Virgina..... Do you like Jim Carey?
The answer to that question is easy. He is the funniest MF. I love every movie he does. Even if what he says is not funny, just his facial expressions alona can kill you.
Shauna from Fargo ND... Is the glass half empty or half full?
Being in this business I think its important to see it as half full. I am an optimist and believe in dreaming. If you think positive you feel better and if you feel better it is easier to acheive your goals.
Jen from WI... What inspired you to make the song "Ballerina"?
Two things inspired that song. One was the story of my producer's daughter who was dancer, passing away from cancer. The story touched touched me deeply and I decided to write a song about her. That is where the angel concept came from. Coincidentally around the same time we were creating the song I had the most beautiful, vivid dream of a ballerina dancing on the beach. After the dream the rest of the song fell into place very quickly.
Shelly from Detroit.. what cologne are you wearing?I wear L'eau D'Issey by Issey Miyake.
I am going to wrap this chat up and I would like to thank all of you for spending your time with me. I had a great time.
