Rat Pictures and Standards |
Rats should be
sleek with a soft coat.
The average weight for a female a little less than 1/2 a pound.
Males in-between 1-2 pounds.
Overweight rats are frowned upon in the show ring but boy are they cuddly!!
Ears perky and large on a standard. Dumbos shouldn't have folds in the ears.
The head should be refined with a good sense of definition from the jaw line to
the ears. Short heads are a fault
