New Life
The sweet air of Spring
Flowers mature and bloom
Bees awaken, gathering nectar all around
Sleepy bears awake
Goats, horses, cows, and deer
Trees grow new leaves for shade
Yes, this sweet air of Spring
Our Souls
Winter comes and winter goes,
While on the Cross, His blood was shed,
Snow, white, pure and clean falls from the sky
Winter brings cold and chill,
He promises life after death, up above
So, glorify, praise His Holy Throne

The Sun
Far on the horizon in the east
Rising higher, higher, higher projecting it's welcoming rays
Come evening, shadows are cast
The light so quietly takes leave

Weapon of a Righteous Warrior
The warrior grasps his weapon tight.
It possesses power to separate marrow from bone
His weapon is as a two-edged sword,

I lived in darkness
I was wicked
I felt guilty
I felt a presence
I confessed my sins
I was forgiven
I was joyful

Prayer for Provision

Brings out beauty and life
As birds spread their wings
And sing happily with might.
Perfuming the air with delight
Rubbing away winter's gloom
Shining forth brilliant and bright.
Making sweet honey
As they go about "buzzing" with sound;
What a charming thing to see.
Searching for food to revive them.
One takes a swim in a lake
Enjoying the atmosphere around him.
Give birth to kids, foals, calves, and fawns.
New life has begun new years
As these wee ones grow up like their moms.
Lively, fresh, and green.
By God they were made
For animals and to beautify the Spring scene.
Refreshes the heaviest soul,
Bringing life for new beings,
Making our lives happy and whole.
For months on end it does snow.
Christ sent His Son so we could know,
His love for our individual souls.
As an atonement for our sins He bled.
The precious blood able to banish all dread
Forgiving and cleansing deep our souls.
Covering the ground low and high.
Christ’s atonement so pure when to self we die,
Willing to carry His cross, will save our souls.
Like sin it rages in constant peril.
Faithfulness to God’s voice and will,
Is a must for our eternal souls.
For those willing to share His love.
Free from sickness, trials, sin and lying tongues
We will be if we protect and guard our souls.
Who has made His enduring mercy known!
For you and I He gave His own
To save our wretched sinful souls!
Ungodliness doth He despise.
He judges man’s measure
And the fools who are unwise.
The righteous, He gives hear to
Their prayers He doth hear.
Faithful prayers are hearken unto,
A Shield is the Lord and forever near.
Destroyed shall the deceitful be,
Rebellion shall be burned by fire.
Righteous wrath ye shall see
Justice and Mercy shalt He desire.
Joy ye shall receive,
Favour doth He giveth
If ye loveth Him and believeth
Thy soul for Him shall liveth.
A warm glow slowly rises above
Casting beams of joy upon a bed of fragrant flowers.
The grass purks up, tree tops glisten,
As the yellow illuminates the morning sky.
Burning brighter, brighter, brighter as it warms the earth below!
It blankets the fields of hay, like a fresh dew in early May.
Flowers soak in the light,
While furry creatures bath in it with sweet, satisfying delight.
As the light tarries on the horizon to the west.
Flowers close up, birds return to nest.
The warm air fades ushering in a cool summer's eve.
The dawn is long past, soon the moon will rise with haste.
As darkness hovers 'round over the still country below.
Sleepy children drift off to solemn slumber
And wake when a bursting glow through their window peaks;
The Sun is rising again in the east.
He spoke and they were so!
The Lord made the earth,
He spoke and it was formed!
The Lord made all living things,
He spoke and they breathed life!
The Lord made the first man,
He spoke and gave to him a wife!
The Lord made all things under heaven,
He spoke and all of this was so!
A smile and twinkle,
A kind word,
A contagious giggle,
A hug,
A hand to hold tight,
A helpful servant,
A joyous delight,
A love gift,
A burden shared,
A friend to all,
Is someone who cares.
Its value is great, he keeps it near.
He holds it high, standing tall and upright.
His face shines, showing no fear.
And to tenaciously divide asunder.
The warrior is courageous, he stands alone.
His words of truth boom like thunder.
It is fashioned with power and might,
It is the Holy Bible, the WORD of the Lord
It shines in darkness as a bright light.
Against the Holy Word of God and win.
Holy Ghost conviction and power together band
To save the poorest soul from sin.
Against all the evil foes
Discerning right and exposing wrong
Proclaiming both blessings and woes.
Be outfitted, ready for any war.
He can face all trials; all peril
Strong in stature and strong in the LORD.
A wretch, a shame
I was a scorn
A wandr’r lame
Groping on my knees
I lived in bondage
Searching to be free
Hurt and tainted
I was selfish
Fake and painted
My conscience sad
My heart was hard
My flesh was bad
I began to pray
I cried out to God
Begging Him to stay
Repentance was next
I pleaded with God
My heart was sore vexed
I was cleansed and saved
Old things passed away
Jesus Christ I craved
My heart was changed
I found real hope
In Love unfeigned
I pray on my knees
I am free in Christ
He is all I need
You know our needs
Please give us bread
Please give us meat
We hunger now
We thirst for drink
Our bodies tire
Our minds are weak
Our faith is worn
Please give us strength
Help us endure
We look ahead
We see no hope
Our souls seek You
We trust You LORD
As You see fit
We wait for You
Please do help quick
We are content
Loving only You
Please LORD we pray
Provide for us
Provide this day
