July 30 2000 Sunset Solar Eclipse

It was July 30, 2000 when the moon took a bite out of the sun! This was my first solar eclipse I had ever witnessed. The eclipse was only 40 minutes long with a near 30% maximum coverage. The weather was fairly reasonable. I got some clear breaks, before the sun setted eclipsed. I was to get a couple decent photo's of 1st Contact and some photos from slide film. I will post 1st contact a little later on, when I have time. In the mean time here is a picture I took of the solar eclipse. If you subscribe to SkyNews Magazine, look for this picture in the Nov/Dec Edition. Thanks to Terence Dickinson editor of SkyNews Magazine, and especially Alan Dyer, Associate Editor for SkyNews Magazine, and Contributing Editro for S&T Magazine for helping me submit the photo. Thanks Guys!
