I Love Melvin's Movie Lines

Good God, I hope I'm doing this right. First I would like to say that I am completley computer illiterate. So, please, bear with me. Also, I can't spell to save my life.

These are a few of the Jivin's Jill's favorite quotes from Donald O'Connor's movies. Whether Don said them, or not.

"Singin' In the Rain"

"That's a moot point."
Cosmo Brown's first smart-ass remark

"I got no money, I got no fame, I got no big mansions, what have I got?" "I don't know, what have you got?" "I got to get outta here!"
Cosmo and Don Lockwood (Gene Kelly) discussing Cosmo's hard luck story.

"Wait a minute. I'm just about to be brilliant!"
Cosmo coming up with the idea to dub Lena's voice.

"Well if it isn't Ethel Barrymore!"
Don, upon seeing Kathy (Debbie Reyonalds) jump out of a cake.

"Out To Sea"

"Prick!"
Jonathan and his not-so-nice assessment of the cruise director.

"I work here."
Jonathan about to get his groove on.

"He'll make captian for that."
After finding out the curise director had "relations" with the owner of the ship.

"There's No Business Like Show Business"

"Mom, Mom, you're drowning me!"
Timmy, after comming home "stinking," almost looses his life in the bathroom sink.

"You forgot your breadstick."
Timmy trying to get Vicki (the always lovely Marilyn Monroe) to invite him into her apartment.

"Well, if it isn't Ethel Barrymore!"
Sound familiar? Don gets the pleasure of this "used" line. He says it to Vicki, not Kathy.

"A man chases a girl, until she catches him."
Actually the opening line to Don's solo. And what a great solo it is too.
