What up y'all, it's me DIESEL POWER. Thanks for stopping at my site, it's highly appreciated. Really it is *S*. Please excuse me but, this page will take a second or two to load but I assure you, when I figure out how to shorten the time, it'll be all right again *L*. So a lil' about me?... O.k., I'm 20 years old, I live in Minneapolis, MN and I work at the Mall of Satan..err... America! I'm not in college at the moment but I soon hope to be attending Music Tech because I've decided to broaden my horizons and give Record Production a try. I'm a full-blooded Filipino guy (my parents are from the Philippines). Let's see what else... I guess you could say I'm just a down-right righteous kinda guy because I'm pretty open to everything and anything. I'm also a martial artist by heart. I've been doing martial arts since I was maybe 4 or so. It's alwayz been a hobby of mine *S*. I've done everything from Karate to Muay Thai kickboxing to Brazilian Capoiera. And no I'm not lethal, I'm just interested in the arts and it keeps those unwanted pounds off me *L*.
There is also one thing I wanna get straight here as well. Of late, everyone seems to think that my name comes from Kevin Nash or a former version of himself from the WWF (BIG DADDY COOL DIESEL). Unfortunately, it doesn't. My friends call me DIESEL because of all the energy I have. They say and I quote, "man, he's gotta be tanked with atleast 20 gallons of DIESEL POWER." And that is how I got that name. So I don't wanna hear anymore of that crap *L*.
What else??? Tattoos is probably one of my top hobbies right now. I love getting them and I love watching other people get them. I dunno, maybe I'm just a sick guy like that and I like to watch people scream in pain *L*. And for those of you wondering about my tattoos, no none of them really hurt. It does at first, but after a while you start to not really care about it anymore. And you can see 2 of my tattoos HERE .
I also enjoy watching any contact sports (boxing, kickboxing, sumo-wrestling, football, hockey, soccer, etc). I think one of my favorite contact sports today is still wrestling. I've been watching wrestling for a while now ever since Hulk Hogan wrestled in the old AWA *L*. I've met pretty much all of my wrestling heroes such as; "Stone Cold" Steve Austin , DIESEL himself or Kevin Nash , Jushin Thunder Lyger, Rey Mysterio jr., Psychosis, the HeadBangers, Hulk Hogan, Randy Savage, the Mean Street Posse, Sonny Ono, X-Pac (when he was still the Lightning Kid) and the list goes on. Trust me, it's a lot longer than that. That's just the list of the wrestlers I actually liked or respect. I'm still trying to find all the pics of me with them but I do warn you, they're extremely old!
I've also met numerous actors, actresses and musicians. I didn't like any of those guys but it was nice to meet them. One of the more notable groups of people I've met was Bone Thugz N' Harmony. I really didn't like any of those guys (except for Krayzie-Bone because he actually talked to me *L*) but it was an inspiration for my music career.
And speaking of which, as most everybody knows I'm a performer and my friends and I are currently working on our album. We're hoping we can get out a long-play demo by the summer. I consider myself an artist before a rapper because for 1) It sounds better and 2) Calling yourself a "rapper" is so tacky. "You have to earn that right". I doubt my group and I are gonna be "touring the U.S." anytime soon but whenever we do release a CD, just check it out! We're the WEREWOLF MOB and we hope that someday we'll be a big mainstream band. Until then, we'll be working on our stuff and maybe one day, we'll be the band that everyone talks about? *dreaming of that day* *L*
Yeppers, my music is probably one of the dearest and closest things to me in this entire world. I wouldn't give it up for anyone or anything. Music and performance arts is my life. And really, all the guyz in my band are the coolest guyz on Earth. All these guyz rule!!! And if you'd like to know more, click the W2M banner below...
