I first started scrapbooking last spring (1999) when the owners of a photolab where I worked decided to hold a scrapbooking class. We had a lot of scrapbooking supplies for sale, but my main impression of scrapbooking was that it was mainly geared toward young mothers or retired grandmothers. Considering the cost of these special "acid-free" supplies, I figured they must also be geared for the more financially well-off mothers and grandmothers.I have to admit that the colorful papers and stickers held an attraction for me. I am in my late twenties and grew up in the 80's when I coveted though did not own those wonderful "Hello Kitty" products. Believe it or not, I have noticed a resurgence in the popularity of "Hello Kitty" along with other various Japanese cartoon creatures.
