NORTHWOOD RACING CLUB
NORTHWOOD RACING CLUB is something my friends and I coined. Northwood
is somewhat a very short road with wide turns only few cars take. I used to
drive a van and take it to 65mph on the turns until the tire howls in
protest. My other friend decided he wants to try it on his car
and does a 70. Sooner, we've been comparing our top speeds on that
small piece of paved road. Of course i was on a disadvantage as i was
driving a stupid van. So i decided it's time to buy a car and give
my friend a competition. So the story goes and the record is set at 85
on my car in full stock condition.
But civilization cope with that small paved road and before we know it
constructions are starting already along Northwood. Sands and gravels
everywhere. I wonder how i can still top out my 85mph record without
ending up in a dump truck or a 10-wheeler. So we don't do it anymore.
Anyway, we moved to another place.
Thankfully, I found another backroad going home and it's much crazier
than Northwood. Longer, much more challenging turns... what else can i
ask for!!!
