For rally cars cut a 2x2 inch of old tire tube and screw or vel cro it on the whell base of the back of the tire to use it as a dirt and mud catcher so mud and dirt dont get all in your car....
Always use a throtle return spring in your gas cars. Apsecialy if you run 1/8th scale Poor Bob here didn't use a throttle return spring.
Always discharge your batteries. Stop the evil memory. Don't over discharge though or you might reverse a cell. To make sure you don't either use an atomatic shut off device or when the lights start to get dim(on a light bulb discharger) take it off right away!

Bearings are the best hop up for your car. They make it faster, more efficient, and they smooth out power transfer.
Get somthing soft and light you can throw when you are mad. Balloons are good because you can pop them.
Get a peak charger. The timed chargers are not worth the money.
Winning doesn't depend on the speed of your car. Most of it is the driver.
