Welcome to my poetry corner. The poetry that I write, is something that I hold very near
and dear to me. I write from the heart. It's not necessarily beautiful, or flowing,
or totally structured to a certain pantameter or verse. But, it's MY poetry, and
I use it to express myself. I'm not asking that you like it or love it, I'm just asking
that you'll read it, and accept the expression that I share. Respect what I have
to offer. Peace.

Seeing the wind rustle the leaves, clouds floating gently against the bluest of skies; the warmth of the
day fills my body; the beauty around fills my eyes. I thirst with a passion that could never be quenched, a hunger that could
never be satisfied, to enjoy all God's marvels around me; not just let it all pass me by. Every breath that each creation takes;
on that is what I thrive, and every morning I open my eyes I'm thankful to be alive.

The Essence of You
There's a beautiful thing that each of us possess, though sometimes we miss it
when our lives are a mess. It can't really be touched
or seen with our eyes, yet it's a strong feeling
that people around us recognize. We refuse to look beyond
our own stupid imperfections. Sometimes we're even afraid
of our own mirror reflections. But the thing that people are seeing that I hope someday you can too is the beauty that lies within; the very essence of you.
