Pretty Damn Weird

Not your typical folks next door

PDW is a group of Minnesota writers who've been meeting pretty much every month for years and years. We call ourselves a "writing group", although "writer's support group" would probably best describe our primary activity. However, we do share writings and comments, and participate in writing exercises; we inspire each other to keep on going. Our inspiration has been valuable: one of our members has a book coming out in October, another's agent is expecting to sell her book this summer; three of us are columnists (a weekly paper, a monthly periodical, and a magazine) and one of us is a speech writer.

The rest of us write for various other things, always grateful for the connection with our colleagues.
