Map (Northeast of Maine)
Here is a basic map of where I went. I flew from Minneapolis to Boston, Boston to Halifax, Halifax to Sydney, and then took a cab to the ferry launch where I boarded a ferry for the first time and had a six-hour boat ride. It took about twenty-four hours to complete the trip.
The miracle of flight (am I gonna have to get out and wind-up the plane if something goes wrong?)
This is the firts plane I ever have to go out onto the runway to board. It's an interesting feeling not taking a large commerical flight. I will say that Air Canada was MUCH more friendly than Northwest Airlines was.

Please excuse the 'fuzzyness' of this picture. I would have used a different one but I forgot to take pictures the the few times we went out. Hey this is New Foundland... There wasn't much of anything to do if you got ambitious and decided to go out. It was a definite change from the ‘big city’. Can we say ‘RELAXING’.
