- My Christmas wishlish is just CD's. I am starting a collection and only have a few Mozart. I
like soothing, uplifting music (nothing harsh). I like vocalists or just music that is easy to
listen to and have in the background.

- Good Snowmobile Gloves (I tear through my cheap ones once a year) XL-XXL
- Goggles for snowmobiling ("Scott" makes a set that is made to be big enough to have glasses
on underneath... I think these have better airflow) 8)
- Tools - long quick clamps (these are hand squeezed and usually overpriced, but real slick),
more cold weather florescent lights for the workshop, ceiling mounted extension cord w/three
plug outlet (it reels in the cord like an old window shade), good set of drill bits, plunge
router, biscuit joiner, high torque impact wrench (mine has a wimpy 250 foot pounds), air
powered in-line sander
- DVD's .... Ugg... ahh yeah... love em all... don't even know what I want... Gift certificates
are wonderful.(I'll update this list later) - (I already have Matrix 1 & 2, and Lord of the
Rings 1 & 2 Special Editions)
- Gerber/Leatherman all in one. Never had one... but I think I would get use out of one (consult
Bill/Dave for styles)
- Clothes - I have enough casual (jeans) wear… Business casual would be much appreciated. Shirts
16"x35"(L-XL), Slacks/Kakis 33"x34"
- Money to spend at "K & G Men’s Store" always makes me smile.
- Home Depot/Menards gift certificates
If any of you feel like you have too many monetary cares in this world and wish to rid yourself
of these shallow burdens of life... the rest of this list is available to help you get through your
troubled times. (but it's more for my own little dreamy thoughts than anything)
- The much more grand tool "wish list" includes - Full-size table jointer, power chop saw (good one),
12inch(or greater) band saw, good table saw, dust colloctor - please consult Lisa on any questions
about these fantasies... she's just as much a tool-a-holic as I am.
- "Chatterbox" Walkie talkie headset for helmets (good for snowmobiling / four-wheeling)
- Rolling tool cabinets for the garage (the kind auto shops use)
- Collapsible ladder (16' or greater)
- Maui Jim sunglasses - titanium/small (ask Melanie)
- iPod mp3 player, 20+ gig would be so nice. (Good idea Chris)
- 400+ Threadcount sheets for the Queen-size bed.
Melanie melanie@bww.com
Please note that this is a list that Herb put together for Melanie(at the last minuet... it will be updated)
- Gift certificates for Growth Music (Bloomington, MN) - good selection of Karaoke
- Clothes Shirt=Medium Pant/skirt=8-10 (I'll ask sizes) Gift certificates/cash are definitely welcomed. She is very good at utilizing it. Lined running pants/Jumpsiut.
- Stylish leather Jacket. (or jacket that does not collect hair or lint)
- Gift certificates for Northwestern bookstore
- Michael W. Smith CD's (or the like)
- Antiques - always looked for a lamp where the base is shaped like a person and the shade is "poofy" (If you
know what I'm takin about). Nobody knows what to call it when she asks... (She saw one once and loved it)
- Party games... Apples to Apples, New Catch Phrase, Remote Possibilities, any game you would recommend. (we
have Trivial Persuit, Sequece, Pictionary, Scattergories, Malarky, the old Catch Phrase)
- Gift certificates to ProEx... We'll get some of our wedding pictures blown-up/framed.
- Connect 4 kids game... THE ULTIMATE GAME... Melanie wins every time. Herb is barely sharp enough to play.
- Call Herb go in on a gift from Quixtar.
Bill bill@chchemical.com
- Black leather dress gloves. I have a pair of Wilson's Leather thinsulite XXL's that I like a lot but
am wearing out.
- Machine light. This is a task light that I mount on my lathe to provide focused light on my part that
I am turning. It could be a cheap desk-type incandescent or places like MSC (an industrial machine tool
store www.mscdirect.com) have brighter and more durable halogen lights. I haven't looked for prices or
models, but the old incandescant one on my metalworking lathe is in need of replacement.
- Diamond disks for cutting and grinding masonry. I borrowed one from neighbors Steve Shuweiler last spring
and they work great! Size should fit my Milwaukee grinder that I have at the Toybox… I think it is a
4-1/2" (Steve Shuweiler is a supplier of these disks.)
- 20 ton bottle jack to replace the leaking one in the press at the toybox.. Size may have to be matched
carefully to fit into the press, but I believe it is a standard jack.
- Wire Tracker = a device to put a signal into a wire and has a detector that you can go to another area
and see which or if the wire has the signal. Useful for tracing wires for trouble shooting and detecting
broken wires, etc. I saw one in a Northern Tool catalog item#967797-2403
- Hunting gloves… Cabela's etc. I have a good pair that are wearing out. Specs: Insulated (warm!)
Gore-Tex (not substitutes) over the wrist gauntlet. I use them for keeping warm while hunting and
then for picking up decoys so the Gore-Tex is important. (my current pair only lets the outer layer
get wet and they dry easily in a few hours before I go out the next time. It also makes sense to have
a non-fleece exterior so they don't hold too much water in the outer fabric.
- "Diver duck call" This is generally not a mallard call that everyone associates with duck calls. The
blue bills, canvasbacks, wood ducks make a distinct sound that is not "quack". This may be hard to
shop for by a non-duck hunter without a lot of good assistance. A tape recorded lesson for me would
also be helpful.
