Who am I?

Michael HaxHello. It's a pleasure to meet you. My name is Michael Hax. I recently attended ITT Technical Institute in Troy, Michigan. My focus of study was Multimedia. My degree is an Associates of Applied Sciences with Multimedia focus. I graduated on March 18th, 2008. I graduated with Highest Honors. I am also a member of the National Technical Honor Society.

Graduation DayRichmond High School was where I learned the basics of HTML. It was also where I developed my love of web scripting and authoring.

After high school, I attended the Specs Howard School of Boradcast Arts. I focused in audio broadcasting and production. There I acquired technical skills of audio production and how to properly speak when on the air.

Having graduated Specs, I worked in the radio industry. I worked for Allur Broadcasting, Radio One, and Crawford Broadcasting Corporation. With Allur and Radio One, I worked in the Promotions department. At Crawford Broadcasting Corporation I was a board operator and did some minor production work.

Throughout my stint in the broadcasting industry, my brother-in-law Ken Valyi had a website and he graciously let me post an editorial column called "Gripes of the Ghostman". Soon, I had written so many columns, Ken offered to set up my own web-site. Of course I jumped at the chance and thus, ZebraCheese was born.

I eventually left the radio industry. A few years passed and I realized that the web has always been interesting and fun to me. I applied to ITT and the rest is history! At ITT I've learned skills in programs like Flash, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Premiere Pro and AfterEffects just to name a few.

I'm hoping to get work in web design or the Michgan movie industry. Everything I've learned has been great fun and I don't want to stop!
