I bought this game used from Blockbuster a couple days ago. I've enjoyed it very much. This game is very fun and features a lot of cool songs from the 80's (hence the title). As I'm sure you can tell by the photo on the left, this game is available for the PlayStation 2.
My fiancé Caroline and I have both been playing this game and have found the game challenging and fun. We did have to buy a wireless controller for this game because Guitar Hero 80's does not come with a guitar controller like the other games do. This is true even if you were to buy it new.
Find a friend with their own controller and you two can rock out!
Some of the songs in the game include Holy Diver, Turning Japanese, I Ran, Seventeen, We Got the Beat, Hold on Loosely, I Wanna Rock, 18 and Life, and amny more!
The graphics have a cartoon style especially the backgrounds you're rocking out on. The controls are pretty tight too. Also included are cool unlockables (guitars, varnishes and other characters) that you can purchase when you complete the game on the different difficulties. In fact, if you find any of the songs too hard, there's a practice mode that will help you master the song!
My only complaint is the repetitive nature of playing the songs for each of the venues.
