New Facilities to thank?
The Rangers realeased pictures of their new practice facility that was finished before this recent stint of good play. "I think that the new equipment boosted the players will to be here." said goalie Kevin Weekes who was justed named the XHL Player of the Week.
 Weekes was named Player of the Week!
Weekes put up a 5-0-2 record last week with a 1.05gaa. His teamates supported him by scoring some goals finaly. "This team is finally comming around, it is a little late but we hope to carry it into next season." Said head coach Peter Laviolette. If this happenes that would be the best start in franchise history. With the team playing for their 100th win in franchise history tomorrow night aginst the Atlanta Thrashers hopes are up in the locker room. "We have to take this one game at a time if we don't we will find our selves back to our losing ways." said Defenceman Mattias Norstrom. The reason the hopes are up is the play of Kevin Weekes, when GM Hurids traded for him management thought he was crazy but Nabokov was struggling and Weekes has turned it on as of late and will look forward for the chance next season.
