St Gebhard II of COnstance

St. Gebhard's feast day is August 27th. Hebhard was born in Bregenz, Austria. His father was Count Udalrich VI of Bregenz. At age 30, Genhard was named Conrad's successor as Bishop. In 983, Gebhard founded the Abbey of Peterhausen near Constance.
