A Jonah Wood came from Halifax, Yorkshire, England. He settled in Hempstead, Long Island, New York (Aspinwall).

1. Elizabeth Wood was born February 26, 1668.

2. Phebe Wood was born January 29, 1674.

3. John Wood was born August 18, 1679

4. Jonas Wood, Jr. was born December 8, 1681,

5. Timothy Wood was born July 17, 1683

6. Ann Wood was born August 11, 1687.

Jonas Wood (d. 1689) was a judge (Huntington township) in Mat 1663 and May 1664. (Connecticut Colonies I, 401, 428).

Jeremiah Wood of Hamstead died December 28, 1686.
