  • Obulecz - province of Krakow in 1427.

  • Odrowaz - (sen) one who lived near the Oder River. Many Odrowaz lived in the province of Krakow in 1300 and 1700.

    Their are six main branches of the Odrowaz family:

    1. The Odrovons von Gorsa in Kleinpolen.
    2. The Odrovons von Bialaczow in Kleinpolen.
    3. The Odrovons in GroBpolen.
    4. The Odrovons von Gprowa.
    5. The Odrovans Konskie.
    6. The Odrovan of Mahren. ***Because of all the saints that came from Odrowaz, it is considered a Holy Town. Odrowaz was a village about nine kilometers from Kamien.

    7. Olstynski - named after the provincial capital in Poland. This family was documented in the province of Ruskie in 1632. They were also documented in Wizna in 1674.

    8. Ossowski - this family came from Osowo, and was also found living in Slask in 1556.

    11. Pacanowski - named after a province in Sandomierz in 1568.

    12. Parczewski

    13. Pawlowicz - one who came from Pawlow, in Poland. This names was also recorded in Troki in 1648.

    14. Pekalski - comes from a province of Sandomierz in 1302.

    21. Ploszowski - came from the province of Sieradzkie.

    22. Pniewski - came from the province of Ruthenia or Ukraine in 1401. They are also ducumented in the province of Krakow>

    24. Podgorski - one who came from Podgorz (at the foot of the mountain), in Poland.

    25. Polecki - means descendant of Polek, a pet form of Napoleon (lion of the forest). Polecki was first recorded in the province of Ruthenia/Ukraine in 1600.

    26. Potemski - one who works after dark.

    27. Potempski - was found in the province of Sandomierz in 1632. Also found in the Province of Ruskie.

    28. Potrykowski - first recorded in Mazovia.

    29. Pruszkowski - one who came from Prussia. First found in the province of Sieradzkie in 1648.

    30. Predwojewski - found in the land area of Ciechanowska in 1550. Also in Warmia in 1720.

    31. Przedwojewski

    32. Przedworski - found in the province of Leczyckie in 1674, and Przemysl in 1631.

    33. Ptaszynski - found in the province of Krakow in 1631.

    34. Raclawski

    36. Rembieszcki - found in the province of Krakow in 1640.

    40. Siedlecki - found in Greater Poland in 1550.

    41. Siedlnicki (sen) - found in Slask in 1480, and Podlasie in 1740.

    46. Spowy (Odrowaz VII). Sprota means "twig."

    47. Strasz - a sassy or arrogant man (Germany) Strasz was found in the province of Krakow in 1450, and in Sandomierz.

    48. Strasevicious - the Lithuanian form of the Straszcwicz family.

    49. Straszewicz - were found in the city of Upicki in 1750.

    53. Szczekocki - was found in the district of Krakow in 1366. Also found in Lublin in 1532.

    54. Sypniewski - was found in Prussia in 1490, greater Poland in 1550, and Litwa (Lithuania).

    61. Waligorski - found in the province of Krakow in 1600, Slask, and Poznan.

    62. Wanikowski - found in Przemysl in 1687

    63. Werda - found in Gdansk in 1440 (also called von verden [nob])

    64. Wechadlowski

    65. Wilkonski(sen) - came from the province of Krakow in 1560, Podole, and Poznan, Poland.

    66. Wizgerd - in Lithuania in 1401.

    67. Wolski - came from Wola (liberty) in Poland. Also found in Rawa in 1542

    68. Wolynski- came from Sandomierz.

    69. Wysocki - came from Wysock (high) in Poland, Wysocki also means "a tall man." The Wysocki family was found in Krakow in 1336.

    70. Zaba - from Lithuania in 1700.

    72. Zarszynski - was from the province of Puskie in 1512.
