The Railfan Photography Intern

My First Year In Review!

Well, under the tutelage of my mentor, David Patch, I have been photographing trains for a year now! I'm pretty proud of my steady improvement as seen in my Railfan Photo Book at My Photos. For the last year, I've accompanied David on many a photo day with my Minolta Dimage G500, point and shoot digital camera, working on my timing and shot composition. Now, I've reached the point where I want to do more than the little point and shoot can do, so I'm looking for making the jump into real photography with a GOOD digital in the future. I'm saving for it!

Now for the short and sweet "best of" set! Here is a 12 photo collection featuring my best shot from each month in Year One

You can comment on any photo at the Simply Davine guest book!

ENJOY!
