Directions to Heidi's Campout
In Kentucky take I-75 to exit 62 (Mt Vernon/Renfro Valley exit./Hwy 25
to 461). Turn right at the end of the ramp. This road turns into 461
a
few miles down the road. Take 461 until it ends--about 16 miles. This
brings you to hwy 80--turn right on 80. Go about 6 miles until you
come
to the first traffic liight hwy 914. Turn left on 914 take it about 8
miles until it ends at us 27. Turn left on 27--go a mile or two to
hwy
90--big intersection. Turn right on 90 and take that 16 miles to
Monticello. When you get to Monticello, you will come to a series of
lights. The first is just past the Holiday Inn Express at
Krogers/Arby's on your right. The next is a block down to the post
office and the new Walmart and Krystal. The third is a few miles down
at a quick lube and a closed shell station. The fourth is a few more
miles down. The only thing on the corner is a used heavy equipment
lot.
Go to the fourth traffic light and turn left. Take this about a
mile--maybe not quite-you are getting close when you pass the
Cumberland
Dairy Restraunt. Very shortly after the restraunt the road will make a
sharp turn to the left, a carwash dead ahead and a road to the
right--The road to the right is hwy 167--turn right on to 167. Take
this 9 miles--follow the signs toward New Hope Baptist church. About
half way out you will encounter some very sharp curves, usu with gravel
on them. Be careful. A few miles after the tight turns you will come
to a big traffic triangle at a church--follow 167 to the right-a lot of
people think this is New Hope--it isn't--you still have 2 1/2 miles to
go. After you pass the New Hope Baptist Church turn off it is the
first
driveway on your left. It is up hill. You can follow the mile markers
It is about a half mile past 12. If you get to 11, you have gone too
far and look over your left shoulder and you will see the house on the
hill. It really is not hard to find. I will try to have BMW logo on the road.
